Hi all,

I'm employed in Switzerland (and payed in CHF) but I live in France. I would like to open a broker account to buy stocks but it's quite likely that I will move to another EU country in a few years. I wonder what will happen if I change the address of my broker account. Do I need to pay export tax or will I only be taxed once I liquidate stocks?

I also assume that it's impossible for me to create a Swiss account since I dont live there?

Sorry for the rookie question.

Cheers!

You don´t need to care about this. You can use any broker and you can change your address later. Usually only taxes apply only when you sell your assets. So as long as you don´t sell there should be no problem.
