i was reading an article where it said that someone had stolen one billion dollars and afterward started sending the money to offshore bank accounts, why if someone was able to steal that much money prefer to deposit the money into offshore bank accounts rather than some other way assuming that they had other options? what is it about offshore bank accounts that attracts all kinds of customers? did anyone hear about this bank breach which was supposedly massive and worldwide? can someone please tell me why all of this money was preferably sent to offshore bank accounts around the world? thank you.
