I expect a $35.000 payment from HongKong to my Freezone company account in Dubai. At the beginning I sent them my AED IBAN account and they transferred the amount as my bank (WIO) said they will automatically convert it into AED. The payment did not get through and went back to the senders bank. Now I got an USD account from WIO and we tried it again. It’s already 5 days and I haven’t received anything yet. Any idea what’s the issue here?
Remember I did cash deposits of approximately $1m in my private bank account few months ago, without having really a history here + made almost $300,000 cash deposit in my corporate bank account. Is that maybe the reason? Iam curious to know because all my banking transactions and even 6 figures working absolutely fine as long it’s in country. Haven’t tried big amount from USD yet.
Any idea what’s the issue? Maybe because WIO is just an internet bank?
