How is Argentina (Burnos Aires) in 2025 for those getting salary in USD / EUR?

Inflation at 200+%, USD and EUR are skyrocketting, and generally high crime rates. Similar to Turkey, and its unliveable there.

Although still possible to get citizenship after 2-3 years right?

Have you considered Montevideo/Uruguay ?
Agree you should consider it, nice country, have been there a few times some years ago, felt pretty secure also in the night.

I have a buddy on the ground now who was there a few months prior.

He said it's crazy, all prices are 2x in a few short months. Must be tough for the locals.

My friends who lived there left after Milei became president. It's just not worth being there now—it's very expensive, dangerous, and it's a pretty shitty place.
it's interesting that many Argentinians who lived abroad are heading back

Are thee heading back with their foreign money? As that would be a different game than living and earning as a local over there.

I know plenty of immigrants that head back home to distressed countries but they are not going back empty handed but with foreign money to live like kings during a economic crisis in that country.

Where would you advise moving 2025? Tax free for worldwide income, or at least tax only the remited (in country) worldwide income? I am thinking very much of Malaysia, but I don't like that they state "tax free on income that has been taxed somewhere else". So, if it's 0% taxed somewhere else (actually not taxed) then has to be taxed in Malaysia. Any other alternatives, suggestions as you're the expert! I'd prefer to avoid Latin America and Middle East. Somewhere cheap with life... Thank you so much

This question has been asked many times on forum. And my answer now is same as answer then. It depends on your situation and personal tastes. There is not a one size fit all relocation solution that works for everyone's lifestyle or situation. Search the forum for where people have asked a similar question.
