Good Day Gents.
I’m in the process of liquidating my IFZA Freezone company in Dubai and wanted to get some advice on whether the quote I’ve received seems reasonable.
For context, my company has been dormant for all of 2024 (the entire tax year), with no transactions or activity. It should be a pretty straightforward case, but here’s the breakdown of costs they’re quoting me:
I’m curious if this is in line with what others have paid for similar cases, especially since the company is inactive and shouldn’t require too much work.
Also, if you’ve gone through this process before, are there any hidden fees or surprises I should watch out for?
Would love to hear your thoughts or advice, or if I am being ripped off!
TIA

For context, my company has been dormant for all of 2024 (the entire tax year), with no transactions or activity. It should be a pretty straightforward case, but here’s the breakdown of costs they’re quoting me:
- License Cancellation: AED 2,000
- Establishment Card Cancellation: AED 500
- Visa Cancellations (outside UAE): AED 1,500 per visa
- Corporate Tax Filing: AED 2,500 (even though it’s a zero return)
- Liquidation Report: AED 2,000
- Assistance/Service Fees: AED 2,000
I’m curious if this is in line with what others have paid for similar cases, especially since the company is inactive and shouldn’t require too much work.
