The investment was many years ago, when BTC was around 200 USD.
The problem is, the bank asked the proof of source. I told them I bought BTC many years ago, they asked me to show invoices. No cash transfers were saved.
Who has an experience like that?

Find another bank that doesn't care about the original source of funds.
Send a test payment first.
If you already cashed it all out to one single account and they don't like your proofs I'm curious what will happen? Will they send it back to the exchange where you made the exit?

There would be records of your money going to Mt Gox. There would be blockchain data with time stamps to roughly show you moved BTC to your wallet. I'm sure this would be enough information. If not reverse the funds, buy BTC back from exchange and cash out at another bank in test amounts until you know they are okay with your funds being from crypto. Out of curiosity, which country was it?
