Hello, all OFC members. Please give me advice on where to get low-interest rate loans. Currently, in my country, loan rates are usually between 14% and 25%, which is very high. I’ve looked into options in Japan, Hong Kong, and China, but it’s hard to obtain a line of credit and low-interest rate loans.

Are there any options to establish an entity and secure a low-interest rate line of credit for business working capital? We have collateral and stock in Hong Kong and Japan, but how can we connect with banks to build a relationship of trust so they can provide low-interest rate working capital?

This is a great piece of advice and I have been doing same for a long time.

It is not exactly a Lombard loan though: if you have a margin account (just sign one form) you can simply withdraw cash (rate around 5.8% currently for USD) and have a negative balance, which you can top up in full or partially at your convenience, while interests are charged regularly and compound.
If you hold dividend paying securities the interests will be well covered by dividends (see https://www.offshorecorptalk.com/threads/the-johnny-doe-ibkr-portfolio.43488/ which I update every semester).

The box spread is not 100% risk free if you are trading American style options, so be careful as they can be exercised before expiration.
