Bashing the EU, or as it is called here, EUSSR is a constant on this forum.

The question is where

USA/UK is even worse for taxes and comparably bad on many (other) social issues
LatAm is dangerous
Africa is, well, Africa
Middle East is war-torn / unstable
GCC? Living in Islamic authoritarian futuristic shopping malls with 60-70% of population imported from third world countries and influencers/scammers and unbearable weather 60-70% of the year? Least worst option maybe, but still.
Singapore/HK? Not really tax free, not really free, but maybe?
Where else? China, Russia, Iran, India, etc?
Random jungle paradise in Bali or Thailand?
Or Australia/NZ that have comparable problems to Europe/UK on tax and social issues?
Random banana island in the caribbean/pacific? To live like exiled people used to in xix century? Maybe Cayman/Bermuda are ok enough
Balkans, you may get kidnapped and/or killed.
Switzerland is getting more woke and anti-rich with every year, maybe being surrounded by the EU doesn't help, but for now least worst in Europe
Monaco? Then you are not really outside of EU for many practical (except for importantly, personal income tax) and logistical purposes, as you are surrounded by communist france and broke italy

Like where do you really run?

So it seems obvious liveable things to "escape from the EUSSR to" are Dubai/AD (0), Monaco (0), Cayman (0), Qatar (0), Bermuda (0), or Singapore/HK (not 0), maybe switzerland (not 0)

so islamic desert autocracy, expensive banana island and EU-surrounded tax free franco-italian village monaco are the only tax free options.

Then Switzerland, Singapore or Hong Kong, if you want a real country/megapolis (the abovementioned Dubai ticks that box too) and ready to pay moderate taxes.

So you don't really escape?

Add Cyprus/Malta and Ireland on the list if you after Med or wet climate and can do non-dom (so passive income only).
The rest you mentioned correctly, there is no ideal setup available. We almost went with Monaco, but decided to give Dubai a go and didn't regret. Apparently, most of our London circle moved the same way and you only spend like 7 months here, then travelling around the globe enjoying the everlasting summer.

LatAm is dangerous
Is it? Is it really? Latin America is a big region with a lot of variety in quality of life, safety, environments, and economics.

Africa is, well, Africa
Earth is, well, Earth. There is enormous variety within Africa.

Middle East is war-torn / unstable
A fair assessment of much of the region, but that doesn't mean it's without opportunities and possibilities. It just might be a good fit for you personally.

GCC? Living in Islamic authoritarian futuristic shopping malls with 60-70% of population imported from third world countries and influencers/scammers and unbearable weather 60-70% of the year? Least worst option maybe, but still.
Hardly anyone in GCC cares that foreigners aren't muslim. You're expected to respect the local culture but you're not expected to live your life according to shariah law. Just keep to yourself and don't get in the way. Don't mess with the locals.

The summers are hot but you're not actually required to stand outside in it. As long as you have a home, you can just turn the AC on.

Singapore/HK? Not really tax free, not really free, but maybe?
Don't think about taxes as absolutes. Think of it as ROI. What value do you get for your taxes in Sweden vs Singapore, or Hungary vs Hong Kong?

Where else? China, Russia, Iran, India, etc?
Russia and Iran are problematic if you trade with the west. Lots of sanction hoops to jump through. China and India are much easier.

But they all come with cultural changes you need to adapt to.

Random jungle paradise in Bali or Thailand?
Sure, why not? If it's a lifestyle you enjoy, go for it.

Or Australia/NZ that have comparable problems to Europe/UK on tax and social issues?
I guess not, if you think EU/UK is problematic.

Random banana island in the caribbean/pacific? To live like exiled people used to in xix century? Maybe Cayman/Bermuda are ok enough
Have you been?

Balkans, you may get kidnapped and/or killed.
Why would you get kidnapped or killed?

Switzerland is getting more woke and anti-rich with every year, maybe being surrounded by the EU doesn't help, but for now least worst in Europe
Great, then it sounds like Switzerland might be a place for you?

Monaco? Then you are not really outside of EU for many practical (except for importantly, personal income tax) and logistical purposes, as you are surrounded by communist france and broke italy
Sure, if you like it there?

Like where do you really run?
That's the neat part. Wherever you want. Once you reach a certain level of wealth, you can pick and choose almost anywhere in the world to settle down.

So it seems obvious liveable things to "escape from the EUSSR to" are Dubai/AD (0), Monaco (0), Cayman (0), Qatar (0), Bermuda (0), or Singapore/HK (not 0), maybe switzerland (not 0)
Indeed, in your subjective opinion.

so islamic desert autocracy, expensive banana island and EU-surrounded tax free franco-italian village monaco are the only tax free options.
There are more options, but you'd do yourself a huge favor if you just forget about chasing zero tax and instead focus on getting value for your tax.

Would you rather pay zero tax and live in what you'd probably consider totalitarian Islamic regime like Qatar? Or pay around 10-20% tax and live in a place with a culture and weather/climate that speaks more to you? It's your choice.

Then Switzerland, Singapore or Hong Kong, if you want a real country/megapolis (the abovementioned Dubai ticks that box too) and ready to pay moderate taxes.
Yes, indeed.

So you don't really escape?
The only walls and limitations here are the ones you've created for yourself.

How much did Ursula pay you to write such ignorance?
Did you know that different people can have different opinions, without being paid shills by whichever side you don't like? Time to take your meds. Your paranoia is showing.

Balkans, you may get kidnapped and/or killed.
I stopped reading there, I've been living in Romania for 2 years and Bulgaria for half a year now + travelling around Serbia, Bosnia, Albania and Greece during my stay here. It's a hundred times safer than any western country. So you clearly don't know you're talking about.

Also, half of Balkan is already in the EU ...

I can testify I’ve not been kidnapped or killed during my visits to the Balkan region. But we both just might have been lucky

Oh I’ve not been kidnapped/killed in Africa, Latam or anywhere else. Actually, I’ve been briefly deprived of my freedom, at gunpoint, only in the EUSSR.

This is my list of livable countries based on freedom, weather, safety..
1. Colombia
2. Andorra
3. Montenegro
4. Brazil
5. Chile
6. Hungary (Even in EUSSR, system and law are diconnected from the most of EU bullshits somehow)
7. Liechtenstein
8. Malaysia
9. Mauritius
10. Monaco

What country do you actually live in?

I know I posted it before but it's still funny.

You are over-generalizing a bit, there are plenty of very safe countries among the list you mentioned, where you won't be killed/looted by the tax office. No country is perfect, the question is what values are important for you.

No , i guess i don't.

I think most of you are LARPing here about being rich. If you really do enjoy living in a place like the balkans and tell me its nice and safe, i have nothing to say to you.

I think 99% of this forum is either undercover tax or cia agents, or people optimizing 6 figs net worth and on their way to have money confiscated or prison.

With the exception of maybe 3 people here, one of whom is apparently dead, none others pretending to be seriously rich here really check out.

I am done with this forum. I like the fact that i can read here for free about the same vanilla schemes here that some boring kpmg or pwc muppet would charge me 50k to chart, but that's about it. It's all deloitte here

Ursula pays me haha, i bet in reality you pay ursula frens. I dont take money from bloodsucking devil worshipping witches

The Balkans are very safe. I had zero issues in BG.
