European Stocks Rise, Erasing Earlier Losses; Media Shares Gain

European stocks advanced for the second time in three days as media and travel companies gained. The Stoxx Europe 600 Index rose 0.6 percent to 254.32 at 8:38 a.m. in London, having earlier lost as much as 0.6 percent.
