Do you have any superstitions?

Are there any things in your life that you are superstitious about? Like not washing clothes on a certain day of the year, or spilling salt and throwing a pinch over your shoulder? If so, what is it and how did you get that way? Was it something passed down from your family? I find it interesting to hear what others have to say.
