Hi,

I would like to know if the 12.5% Cyprus corporate tax has to be paid before or after dividends are paid?
for example:
The yearly profit of the company is 100€, I pay out 90€ to myself as dividends. So there is 10€ left in the company.
Will the tax have to be paid of the 100€ or the 10€ ?

I hope someone can answer this simple question. :)

It's paid only when the dividends are distributed.

What is the exact answer to this. Would a Cyprus company pay tax on dividend if it is received from a sister company OR if it is received from a company it hold shares?
