I've read many unofficial sources about Chile's 5-year tax exemption but haven't found true confirmation of this. It seems to also include controlling foreign companies or remote workers operating within Chile is still considered as foreign sourced income and falls under zero tax, which is incredible if true.
This sounds like a really strategic flag to get a passport, then go on to what's next because they will eventually tax on worldwide income if domiciled which doesn't make it long term but makes a great short term strategy. Does anyone have experience or knowledge on this?
