Not having better things to do, I was looking at Eurostat and the 100th percentile income as percentage of total across EU across time.
Look at the increase from 4.5% up to almost 10% in Bulgaria! The 10th decile is 10 p.p higher than other EU countries. They have had the flat 10% tax in more than 10 years now.
Are we seeing massive capital movements into Bulgaria because of their simple and low-tax regime?
