I do some work for an EU-based licensed escrow service in the digital real estate industry. They support bank wires, PayPal and crypto.
Not too long ago, we were put in a tough situation due to a wire callback (which was voided by sender shortly after), which caused our corporate bank accounts to shut down for nearly 3 weeks until we were able to restore access.
Naturally, this cost us a lot of money in lost revenue.
Now we feel that the time has come to move operations somewhere more industry-friendly, but we don't know where...
The business model is simple. We take a % off each transaction processed through our platform. We net profit around a million a year.
The business is currently based in EU, and is liable to a pretty harsh tax system, which makes scaling the business nearly impossible.
We'd like to move to a country where;
1. Taxes are easier and lower than 40%
2. We can obtain an escrow license
3. More or less crypto _friendly_, or at a minimum, a country that doesn't hate crypto
If anyone has any input, suggestions or anything, please let me know. We have considered Dubai and Cyprus, but the escrow license question remains unanswered, and the web isn't exactly flooded with answers to this.
