Out of curiosity, where is the best place to live in Bahamas for a family with school age kids? Somewhere close to British schools but possibly to live in the beach villa in upscale place with nice restaurants nearby?
The definition of “best” is subjective… it also depends on what kind of education you want for your kids. In Nassau you find a “Miami kind of” lifestyle including traffic and crime, with international schools, all services and high prices (forget a villa like that on a beach for $1.4m).
Eleuthera is a well developed (fiber internet, schools, airports etc) family island with a more genuine lifestyle and in contact with the nature. No crime, no pollution, never crowded.
Then there are less developed or private islands, where the challenges are on par with the beauty of the place. There are families who live in those places and home school their kids, much like those who live permanently on a boat. Some small islands are remote, others just a few minutes ride from the “mainland” by boat.
Any place you choose you never get bored!
It's a nice house, please post pic's once it is renovated.
I'm not sure if the topic really belongs to the
Bitcoin &
Altcoins discussions.
I will!
I will also offer a 5% discount for
crypto payment and market it as the first villa in the Bahamas for sale in crypto with its attached NFT title (plus of course all the traditional legal stuff).
