dukascopy.bank sounds good. However, I see now, fees from assets 1.5% per year, is that serious? Then of course not acceptable.

Maintenance fee 1.5% per year (The maintenance fee (cumulative swap points) is charged monthly for the assets held in the previous month. The fee is calculated from the sum of the end-of-day balances of the investments' * (maintenance fee in % / 360). ja334¤¤#
Just put some cash there and don't do any trading.

So I really wonder how brazen to demand a 1.5% fee, and who is stupid enough to pay it? With 1 million, that would be 15K in fees. Especially as the same 1 million at Swissquote is capped at CHF 200!

Welcome to Swiss banking rof/%

Just one of many examples of Swiss mythology: not everything that glitters is gold.it all depends on the services you require. If you are a daytrader then it makes no sense,
if you need customized services then it absolutely makes sense!
I would never pay it. But there are enough people that voluntarily subsidise the country. That's why such asset fees are very normal in Swiss banking.

@JohnnyDoe is right here: Just one of many examples of Swiss mythology: not everything that glitters is gold.

You can get the same services elsewhere, no need to overfeed Swiss monkeys posing as cows.

You need banks as much as you need a financial dominatrix.
Certainly nobody needs Swiss banks today.
I think back at the time when you had the choice of paying 40% taxed or sending your money to Switzerland and pay 5%, the choice was simple. Now, things have changed, and you can simply pay a mere coffe per day to have your freedom, thanks to @JohnLocke.
