1000 dollars is not "good money" for a Stripe account with history, try 10k.

It's very hard to find Stripe accounts with a history for the amount that you mentioned. The cheapest options are either to form a UK company or create a personal Stripe account. However, it ultimately depends on the type of transactions you will handle through them. We sometimes have aged accounts, but we tend to use them for our own projects because it's a rare setup.
