Anyone has experiences with getting Greek driving license?

Hi all,

I lost my EU drivers license years ago but was only blocked for one year so I should be good to apply for it again in my home country (lots of tests required) or elsewhere.
Currently, I'm based in Athens, Greece for a university program and lived there for > 6 months. I heard it's fairly easy get a local driving license from Greek authorities if playing by the local rules...
Does anyone have any local contacts in the Athens area that could help? If yes, please reach out by pm.

LOL – Isn’t it just a matter of walking into a police station in Athens, slapping €1000 on the table and asking for a driver’s license? Can’t be that hard.
Alternatively, I’m sure you could sort it out for the same amount with one hour of driving and theory total at some dodgy driving school in a back alley somewhere.
