People often discuss how to set up a company, but rarely how to actually make money with a real, easy-to-manage business. Based on your experience, what are the most effective business models today? If you had to recommend a profitable and simple business to run, which one would you choose and why? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Fake? What’s so strange about my question? People here often talk about how to set up companies, so an external reader might assume that many here handle a lot of money. If you don’t have credible businesses worth discussing, refrain from commenting.

You are either someone who is a kid thinking you will find some magical nugget or someone who has never run business. No one, literally no one will tell you what’s making them money.

If they do tell you something works, it is to sell courses or “mentorship”. But you do you, and stop with the attitude.

It means he it selling fakes. Fake handbags sell extremely well on any classified site. You can order them in China and then sell them locally.

Make sure that you do not store your order history nor any login and always edit the listings to something normal before deleting. When police comes, you tell them that your are second hand dealer and found the stuff on the street and from people that needed their house emptied. Better have some random trash online too.

Sure and there are books which reveal businesses that used to work 5-10 years ago.

But is he doing business now and revealing what is working at the moment and making him easy money? Or what real edge he has?
Just check what people need payment processors for. It all pays pretty well. Fakes, dupe perfumes, nutraceuticals, bs subscriptions, IPTV. And then what bank accounts are needed for. Only fans, etc.

If you know what you're doing, trading stocks or any other financial product has to be the ''easiest-to-manage'' business (just a mouse click), but it's not easy to know when to click :)

Selling digital products also has a big income potential because of the customer pool you can reach on the internet. Find a problem people have, create a solution and promote it to them.
It can also take the shape of a digital service (saas) that you sell through a monthly subscription. Create something that create value for people, solve a problem and they'll be happy to give you their $¥€.

Business profit is exponential function. Initially, you have to put in a lot of effort to achieve one unit of profit. The amount of effort required to achieve one unit of profit decreases over time. What does this mean? It is most easily achieved without much effort where the business has been operating successfully for many years. So what you are looking for is not a business idea to start from scratch. What you need is to find and buy a company that is already generating profit and operating to some extent on autopilot. Hire good manages to direct it. And that is what you are looking for.

You bought a company yourself?

Devil is in details. If you are looking at doing these on level of digital nomad and to replace a small salary sure.

However to run it on scale, delegate it and to make serious money - whole different beast. I know it from being in the trenches in this industry.

As long as you have dependencies (suppliers, expertise, clients, etc.), no business is truly easy to manage. You either offload work to others and risk losing oversight, or you're busy 24/7 with your business. Some entrepreneurs strike gold, but they're exceptions, not the rule.

I've been seeing a lot of hype around automation lately, especially with GenAI tools making waves. The barrier to entry is lower than ever with all these low-code platforms available. I've played with some of these tools myself, and while they're impressive, they still require significant time to master and implement effectively. The tech is accessible, but turning it into a sustainable business? Could be something for you to look into.

My advice: figure out what genuinely interests you first. It's an unpopular opinion, but some of the best business ideas come after working for established companies where you can identify real problems that even enterprises struggle with. I found this true in my own journey, since it wasn't until I worked at a big corporate that I spotted the opportunity I eventually pursued.

Don't fall for the "easy money" narrative. Even with the best tools, building something valuable takes time, persistence, and a deep understanding of the problem you're solving. You're going to lose most of the time before you hit a home run.

It’s never easy. If it were easy, everyone would do it. You are going to have to expend in some combination the following: effort, intelligence, or capital resources. Find an optimum combination of what you have available in those categories and dedicate it to your project. You’re asking for intelligence for free here. Not surprisingly, people are declining to give it.

you can lookup up on chatgpt or see above in the thread. No one is going to reveal their real business activities on OCT. For that you want to visit some of these home boy forums around.
