Hey all!

I'm an American and have been operating an American based LLC going on 5 years now, and for the last year have been living the nomadic life around South East Asia. I joined this forum to research structuring options for new business ventures, especially options that may allow me to obtain some longer term visas or a work permit in a new country. :)

Figured I'd drop in an introduce myself. Will read some established threads before posting questions.

It's an Wyoming based LLC. I still have to pay personal income tax, as an American citizen I get bent over no matter where I am in the world and no matter if I physically live in America or not. Uncle Sam is thirsty and wants a sip.

It's an IT business.

Not sure where my last reply went but I saw you had asked what type it was.

Some members still have a bit to learn. ;)

Was just answering a question someone had when I had introduced myself. Guess they can PM me if they want to have a conversation that doesn't involve simply saying "Hello, welcome". ;)

I'll read some threads and search before I post anything. Any question I have has likely been answered before. My situation isn't very unique, I don't think.
