Binance FZE (UAE) launching early December

WIO is ok with BitOasis. I even asked their support and they said it's fine. CBD has been tolerant to USD transfers from kraken. Which banks do you think are ok with p2p?

Did you try BitOasis for off/on ramp? They're not bad. They have a USDT/AED pair with $75 mil daily volume. You can generally sell USDT for AED at about FX rate easily then transfer the AED to your bank account. It usually takes me a couple of business days to receive the money in my bank...

Binance FZE (UAE) launching early December

Really? I didn't know about Bybit and GateIO :) I don't remember receiving communications about that from them. Re: using regulated entities, the travel rule probably supports your thought: https://blog.bitoasis.net/bitoasis-travel-rule-compliance-announcement/ My only problem with the UAE...

Binance FZE (UAE) launching early December

Exchanges like Bybit, GateIO, Kucoin and MEXC are still accessible in the UAE and are not yet under the VARA regulations. Some of them have a fairly large listing and good liquidity especially in bull market times. Most of small coins are also available on DEX's I believe.

Binance FZE (UAE) launching early December

Users with more than 1 residency have the option to remain with Binance Global if they want to. A proof of address in the other country is still required. I did that and it worked for me. See question #18 in the FAQ...

Binance FZE (UAE) launching early December

I don't think so. I noticed that they postponed the deadline for the UAE user migration to January 31. They will probably launch on that date. I managed to stay with Binance Global as I have a residency in another country so I won't be impacted by the UAE migration anyways.

By the way, CBD are ok with withdrawals from crypto exchanges. I asked them in the past and they said it's fine. I haven't had problems withdrawing 5 figures USD from kraken.

Binance FZE (UAE) launching early December

I've just posted a thread that WIO Bank started offering crypto service. They don't allow crypto deposit/withdrawal but a crypto service offered by a local bank gives some hope about crypto banking. Somebody replied that "Another local option is crypto.com, they enabled local USD deposits over...

WIO Bank UAE adds virtual asset

... and like I said initially it's more the fact that a local bank is offering a crypto service than the service itself that I find attractive.

WIO Bank UAE adds virtual asset

Should I assume that withdrawals from crypto.com to Standard Chartered is also not an issue? Or will they start asking questions when they see higher amounts?

WIO Bank UAE adds virtual asset

That's what it seems. I didn't see any crypto deposit/withdrawal function on the app.

WIO Bank UAE adds virtual asset

WIO Bank UAE just sent an email that they added support for virtual assets, a surprising step to me personally. The service is available through a local broker named FUZE. I counted 22 supported coins on the WIO app. I checked the buying price of BTC and it was 0.6% higher than Binance. I'm not...

    Thoughts on Whitebit crypto exchange

Kraken is good for withdrawals. You may still have to face problems with your own bank if they hate money from crypto, but at least you don't face problems sending money out from the exchange.

    Thoughts on Whitebit crypto exchange

I tried to explore their fiat withdrawal page. I got this message on the EUR withdrawal form: "If transaction amount or daily volume exceeds 14500 EUR, we may request additional data such as source of funds that would help us to process your request. "

Great! Thanks for the details. I'm not planning to use them for fiat, at lease for the time being.
