I can’t recall if I needed to provide a proof of address but as I used my residential address in my home country it would have been easy to do so.

Updated using my residential address which is not in the USA but is in a country in which Wise operates. Was accepted and no issues as yet.

Not aware of taxes associated with Jersey registration, but then my boat doesn’t stay in UK and I’m not a UK citizen. Might be different if you have either of those triggers. Jersey registration looks more expensive upfront but its for 10 years so works out similarly priced to the “cheaper”...
