@Martin Everson In reality I've got problems with various CC merchants, they'd only accept my business if I provide an MT prefixed IBAN.
I'm considering to start also reporting these. The product / CC merchant requirements in question is OT here so I'll not go deeper.
> You mean your sata business account is still functioning?
No. I'm just keeping the business account open for the eventual event they may restart operations. Not closing the account prematurely.
Applying for business bank accounts in Malta is a PITA, hence just keeping it open to have one...
@Martin Everson I did so for the private account. But I'll keep the business one open, as I'll need an MT prefixed IBAN for accepting CC payments for some future products.
I'll just drain the Satabank account regularly to reduce risk.
I today received my refund. For both corporate and private accounts. So I'm quite "happy". Not in terms of all the time I had to spend on the refund, the lost opportunities as my liquidity was seriously limited for almost a year etc. Still its nice to have closure on the issue.

Transferwise, I told everyone in the thread already. I also opened (but never used) a revolut account with success. But I put it on ice for now as I'm quite happy with transferwise. Savings I'll store elsewhere.
I'm currently (happly) using non maltese EMIs without any problem. As long I can receive/do SEPA transfers I'm fine. I also have some friends that could use German Handelsbank. If you want to operate in Malt as a foreigner, I recommend not using a Maltese bank. For my kind of business at least...
Day #whatever since I should have been contacted for getting the funds of my private account back. Nothing. Also nobody in my network with eligible accounts. And no one talking about a meeting on social media. Sadly the FB group of Satabank victims has gone private. Still I think that the "We'll...
