Cyprus to raise corporate income tax to 15% for all companies

You are required to have proper accounting/bookkeeping and annual audits in Cyprus. One can probably skip that but it might come at a cost later down the road.

Cyprus to raise corporate income tax to 15% for all companies

Cyprus is just low tax jurisdiction. Achieving 5% on Malta is quite difficult. You need to setup multiple companies so it's generally attractive only to larger businesses. Cyprus is straight forward and better even for smaller companies - with profits of couple hundreds thousand euros - not...

Tax-Efficient Structures for Holding Bitcoin in the Netherlands

Cyprus to raise corporate income tax to 15% for all companies

It's good and bad. Bad as some will pay a little bit more tax. Good as less countries will point to Cyprus saying it's low tax jurisdiction. So corporate tax will be in line with OCED recommendations while non-doms will be able to keep low personal tax (capital gains, dividends etc) and that's...

Fintech Advice: US/EU IBANs in MENA

Wise was present in UAE for a short period of time. Then they got fined by the Government and closed the shop afterwards. Fintech companies like these would make their (mostly national) banks lose a lot of money since money transfers and FX conversions (with insane rates) are a huge business. I...

Moving to Cyprus: mere business owner + medical insurance vs BO & employee + public healthcare

Well, then it's up to you to do the math: Salary cost (social contributions + GESY) + additional accountant costs --- VS --- dividends only + private insurance costs

    still found crypto your assessment

One way ticket to Dubai, stay there for couple of years, cash out, enjoy your life a bit. The money you will spend there (unless you go crazy with buying lambos) will be same or less you would pay taxes in other country - so all that will be - free actually. Thank me later.

Moving to Cyprus: mere business owner + medical insurance vs BO & employee + public healthcare

My advice would be to pay yourself the minimum salary and that way you get the health insurance included. You could pay yourself EUR 1k/month salary and contributions would cost you just extra 130. Take the rest as dividends and that's about it. Calculator https://taxapp.cy/income-tax-calculator/

UAE Golden Visa for License Renewal?

Sounds like a scam. Can he verify that all emails he got were actually from RAK FZ? Are the bank accounts same as for his previous payments?

New Rules on cash payments in Spain

Great idea. What would be the "fee" for such service? That never happens. Banks in UAE pretty much don't care where you spend money.

What investment is making you 10%+ yearly?

There is a platform for investing into UAE/Dubai (and now Saudi Arabian) properties. They have introduced this in Q4 last year and have had maybe one or two projects since. There was an organized webinar so you can take a look:

What investment is making you 10%+ yearly?

You can also do this by funding a company doing that in Dubai. They buy villas on palm, fix and sell for profit. No taxes and you get your money back in about a year or so. Never done it myself I just know it exists.

    Best tropical place to live?

I would say that living conditions are fairly better: it's a much bigger place (3rd biggest island in the Mediterranean and it's 30 times bigger than Malta), it's cleaner, it has nicer beaches, it even has a mountain with some nature (it's about 1900m high and even has a ski center), it's a bit...
