Best Personal EMI/Bank for UAE resident

Zen supports AED, EUR, GBP and more. Onboarding was very smooth, and you can get a debit card delivered in Europe. Nomo maybe too, which has a UK license but is for residents of gulf countries.

    TIN at Revolut

Yeah, but it doesnt help, I can fill it in, but Revolut still requires a TIN from high tax countries B or C.

Opening a US personal bank account remotely with ITIN?

And why would one want a personal US bank account? Assuming one spends no time in the US, the one thing I can see are the rewards on US credit cards which are better than elsewhere. Anything else? Im not sure if it's worth all the hassle for better credit card rewards.

    2 passports & traveling

Depends on the country, many countries accept that you enter and leave on different passports, but some dont. For example, if you travel between the EU and Africa and have dual EU/African passports, which is very common among the African diaspora in Europe, you basically have to use the EU...

    TIN at Revolut

You are Danish right? That means your TIN number for Denmark is your CPR-number which is in the Danish passport which I assume you gave to Revolut when you signed up (unless you used a different passport of course). So technically Revolut already has your TIN number , at least for Denmark.

    TIN at Revolut

I mean A is on their menu, and can be picked, but yeah I guess it's not entirely supported. Then I also spend a lot of time in African country D which isnt on their menu at all. I have this theory that if you are an EU citizen and opened a Revolut account in an EU country, they are quite...

    TIN at Revolut

They say that they will block incoming transfers if a TIN isnt provided on the deadline date, so I dont think the account will be closed down. I have this situation that I reside in zero tax country A, and I entered country A as my tax residency in Revolut. Revolut then kept auto-requesting me...

Finding the Best Country for Value: Top Tax Policies and Benefits

I looked up Baar in the official tax calculator for 2024, and assumed single person 35 year old, no religious affiliation, earning a decent 240,000 CHF gross income, but not enough wealth to hit the wealth tax. Total federal + cantonal + municipal tax would be 48,206 or 20%...

Exposed: EU's Secret Wealth Grab! Is Your Money Safe?

That's because Italians generally own their homes, and because a large chunk of Germany had communism. Look at the other countries that had communism, it depresses median wealth dramatically and the effects are long lasting. If you just take West Germany, I wouldnt be surprised if West German...

Singapore Sole Proprietorship - Anyone done it?

It - in the sense of no ETBUS - i.e. no US tax for non resident aliens selling to the US from abroad is not new. Basically it's since the US Revenue act of 1936 (which specified on what withholding tax would apply to for non resident aliens somewhat) and earlier. And it was clarified in a...

Buying a house with $300K: Where and why?

Do you need to become a tax resident of St Kitts though? It depends somewhat on one's citizenship and previous/other residences, but often just being a resident is sufficient. And anyway, St Kitts Nevis was good enough for John Cleese:
