Have you ever lived in the US/CANADA/AUSTRALIA/NZ/UK in 2021-2024? Dubai is cheaper, and it has 100% less Tax than those places, making things even cheaper.

How to avoid local Company Residence rules?

Ok thanks. Well I'm looking at only avoiding getting the corporate tax since in Dubai is almost 0%. The country I'm looking to move to doesn't tax foreign dividends for a certain number of years so that is already sorted. The main issue remain the Corporate residency rule that could be...

Any update? Panama, HK and Costa Rica aren't great options. Two of them are almost third world, and Hong Kong translates to live in tiny 50th floor claustrophobic apartments, both are not doable with a family looking for comfort and safety.

How to avoid local Company Residence rules?

Let's say you run an US LLC or a Dubai freezone company, with another business partner who holds 50% of the remaining shares. He lives in Dubai, you live in New Zealand, or Canada, or Australia. How does the local Tax agency say that your company must now be classified as a local company if ...

Can you reliably use Wise for mid 6 figures if you have SoF?

Don't worry, crypto or not, for 6 figures and above they can and they will close your account eventually. I provided them with source of funds and they still closed my account with 200,000 USD on it (this was years ago) and they kept the funds for their BS internal investigation for 6 months!

Your set up is too common, they cracking down hard. What did you expect? welcome to the club. You will find it almost impossible to open EMIs and bank accounts for your US LLC while living in the UAE. You either have millions or you will have to be lucky to operate this way as a startup.

UAE: After Oman, will other GCC countries introduce personal income tax?

What are you talking about? People pay 45% taxes in democracies in exchange for literally nothing. Look how dangerous the UK or France have become today, or even most cities in the USA. People pay 20-45% income tax (plus a s**t ton of other taxes) to literally live in the wild west. Very few...
