Behaviour Guidelines for OffshoreCorpTalk

General Conduct Guidelines on OffshoreCorpTalk

Please adhere to the following rules to ensure respectful and constructive interaction within the community:

  • Do not reply on behalf of others.
Avoid inserting yourself into conversations that are clearly directed at another user. This applies to both public threads and private messages. Only respond when the question or comment is meant for you.

  • Avoid unsolicited contact.
Only contact other members if you have a clear, relevant reason, such as offering a legitimate service or responding to a specific request. Refrain from sending unsolicited messages with vague or intrusive questions.

  • Respect others’ privacy.
Under no circumstances should you suggest that you know personal details about another user, such as their location or identity. Comments of this nature are considered threatening and are strictly prohibited.

  • Stop information fishing.
Do not reach out to members with the sole purpose of extracting information. OffshoreCorpTalk is a privacy-focused forum, and any behavior that undermines that principle is not acceptable.

  • Maintain respectful and professional communication.
Attacking other members, mocking them, or starting verbal disputes within threads will not be tolerated. Keep all discussions civil, relevant, and professional. Avoid personal attacks, insults, or any form of hostile language.
