I never had an issue with Wio in AED, GBP or Euro for my business account with significant monthly volume as a resident of Dubai.
Personal banking, only issue I get occasionally is that Mashreq Neo seem to do maintenance every few months and the debit card stops working during the maintenance...
I also had an inspection request, I agree it was quite stressful but it was easily resolved by submitting some contracts, invoices and copies of documents
I used Fred / DLS Dubai to incorporate in Dubai but they have since stopped trading. However, his staff moved over to work directly with IFZA.
I would recommend reaching out to IFZA directly as they offer the same setup.

I had this when attempting to pay American Express in the UK having already paid them on multiple occasions prior. I tried every day for a week and then randomly, it just allowed the payment. Could be worth reaching out to them to ask why?

NomoBank in UK is offering 4.70% for 3 months on a fixed term deposit but looking for something higher if possible?
Local UAE banks seem to offer next to no interest/return on AED let alone GBP funds.
I wonder why? Maybe a temporary glitch? Or something more sinister?
